  This church has been my home for the past 8 years, and they have truly become part of our family. Pastor Rachels is an amazing teacher who challenges me each week to learn more about God, follow the bible and live a godly life. My children are growing up learning not only about the bible and God, but about ways that they can make a difference in the lives of people around them, and that they are accepted for who they are. There are also lots of Sunday school classes, activities and ministries that allow you to get connected, and make lots of life-long friends. I have loved being a part of the Love-Lift Ministries - sewing Christmas Stockings and filling backpacks with supplies for needy children, and joining in Sunday school classes geared toward parents of young children.
  
  If you are looking for somewhere where you can "come as your are", to belong, feel loved and accepted, then this is definitely the place for you.

  If the church is about money, then why do they give it all to the missionaries who are all over the world? Of course the missionaries are the ones that are doing what God has told us all to do which is spelled out in Mark 16:15 - And He said to them, “ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Currently Newport Mesa Church supports 71 families and organizations whose purpose is to bring the word of God to both other countries around the world and many cities in the in the US. May God bless their efforts and may "false food' open their eyes if he/she has eyes to see.
