  I liked the people that went here, they were normal and very friendly. They were decidedly NOT a cult. People say crazy things about Mormons, but they have all been really nice people to me, regardless of their views. They are a christian church and believe in Jesus Christ. They mentioned this belief about a million times from the pulpit. Anyway, hope this helps.
